Data Collection and Usage

RealScroll uses your device's camera to detect face gestures (such as looking down or tilting your head) to provide touchless control for scrolling and interacting with supported websites (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels).

On-Device Processing (Local Only)

Your privacy is our priority. All camera data is processed locally on your device using Google MediaPipe technology.

• No video or images are ever recorded.
• No video or images are ever stored on your device or any other storage medium.
• No video or images are ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.

The camera stream is used solely as a real-time input for gesture detection and is immediately discarded after processing each frame.

Data Sharing

Since we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or camera imagery, we do not share any such data with third parties.

Permissions

RealScroll requires the following permissions to function:

• Camera: To detect face gestures for navigation.
• Side Panel: To provide the extension interface.
• Scripting / Host Permissions: To simulate scroll and click events on supported video platforms.
